The Model 40530W is a water sensing and particulate removing filter with 30 micron cellulose media which is recommended for heavier distillates such as diesel fuel and fuel oils. The 40530W utilizes a standard 1 -12UNF mounting thread 3/4 flow required for most fuel dispensers. The 40530W is a water sensing and particulate removing spin-on filters designed for use on fuel dispensers. It utilizes an epoxy coated interior shell to eliminate oxidation which can cause pin-hole leaks from the inside. PetroClear filters are not to be used with aviation fuels. The 40530W is not recommended for use with alcohol blended gasoline. Phase separation will not be detected should it occur.
