P97 Gets More Mobile
P97 Networks, the mobile commerce engine behind the Equinox controller, recently announced a partnership with MasterCard which is expected to "globalize" mobile payments at the pump. This is great news for sites with legacy equipment, which will be further equipped to handle mobile payments using Allied's Equinox controller. Equinox was designed to introduce P97's mobile commerce technology to legacy systems such as the Gilbarco Passport, Verifone Ruby, and Wayne Nucleus platforms. Sites not ready for a full infrastructure investment are now able to enjoy the benefits of M-commerce technology using this "drop-in" mobile payments solution.
