The New Allied Communicator Object - You’ll wonder how you ever lived without it…

Allied is once again at the forefront of technology in the petroleum industry by introducing the new Allied Active X Communicator Object. Also known as the Allied Communicator, the object works in concert with the new Software Development Kit (SDK) to provide functionality designed to optimize development timelines and efficiency when coding to Allied’s interface. The Communicator allows for event-driven message handling and even removes the need to support the Allied low level protocol! Allied Electronics Installs First NeXGen Forecourt Controller with Circle K

Allied recently completed the first install of the new NeXGen Forecourt Controller with new customer Circle K. The Tampa area location will be the first to enjoy the benefits of NeXGen’s open architecture design, lightning quick response times, TCP/IP connectivity, and a host of other features. Circle K plans to roll out the NeXGen solution into hundreds of domestic locations within the year. A Canadian implementation is also on the horizon.

Allied’s “Circle K” project included certification on the ADS Network via the Conoco Phillips Network Interface, a comprehensive piece allowing Circle K to fully utilize NeXGen’s TCP/IP capabilities. Allied is very excited over the new relationship with Circle K and looks forward to the installation and support of the newest advancements in forecourt control technology!

Allied has also developed an Isolation box that will provide one central location to wire all of the Dresser Wayne Card Activated Terminals (CAT’s). In addition, the Allied Isolation box provides a “bypass” switch for each CAT, thereby permitting service personnel to electronically bypass a CAT for service and/or repair issues. The Isolation box is designed with a unique four-channel layout. The four channels are independent of each other and it is recommended that the CAT’s be equally divided across the four channels. The innovative NeXGen Forecourt Controller utilizes the widely supported PC/104 architecture coupled with a high speed embedded processor. Hard drive expansion, the ability to increase memory, and the use of off-the-shelf hardware not only make NeXGen very flexible, it also allows for shorter development and deployment time.

Allied Electronics Introduces New Product at NACStech 2004

With Customer convenience in mind, Allied Electronics introduces the Helix PIC! The Helix PIC is a free standing “Payment Island Cashier” that accepts Credit and Debit cards as well as Cash. One PIC can offer the Customer the convenience of “paying at the pump” for an entire location.

With future enhancements, the PIC will be capable of dispensing change to customers who have under-run a prepaid amount!

ANDI Diagnostic Kit

Allied Electronics, Inc. introduces our “ANDI Diagnostic software V3.03.” This software assists any technician in diagnosing problems with the Station Site Controller (SSC) main board and selected communication boards. It is a practical companion for field service personnel and in-house bench technicians. The kit contains an easy-to-follow instruction manual, all necessary adapters and software. This software will reduce your repair costs because it gives you the ability to determine if any of the ANDI boards are defective before shipping them back to the factory for repair.
