This Federated
ANDI (Allied Network Dispenser Interface) will be connected directly
to the Wayne dispensers via a Wayne Data box or a Gilbarco "D" box.
The Wayne EC and PIB are not required. The "optional" Allied Electronics
Isolation box may be used to connect the Wayne CAT's to the ANDI. This ANDI
will be configured to support (1) Point of Sale and up to (16) fueling positions
of Wayne dispensers, CAT's and Debit at the CAT's. The ANDI will be supplied
with RJ45
adapters for all communication channels. You will need to select your
POS connection type, when ordering this ANDI and any Options
that you may want to add.
- The POS
connection will either have a DB9 or a DB25 serial connection.
RJ45
adapters: The RJ45 adapters convert the DB25 connection on the ANDI
communication channels and the connections on the peripheral devices (POS,
Dispenser, Card reader, Tank gauge and Car wash) to
a RJ45 connection. All of the special āpinā configurations will be inside
of the adapters. The customer must provide the CAT 5 cable (T568B Spec.) that
will be installed in between these adapters.
